I've got a acer-aspire-vn7-792g here with no power.
motherboard Newgate _SLS MB GDDR5
14307 - 1M
448.06A11.001M
User had changed the DC socket themselves but were wiggling it about for months apparently.
I've taken the laptop apart and the following components were melted.
PC8502 - obviously a cap SC10U25V5KX10uF25V
PG5006/PG5005 these are labelled as Close-Gap. does this just mean that they are just a link or are they a component? They are just blocks in the schematic and nothing comes up on board view
